ICBF Counselling House

THE Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF) launched a Counselling House for workers, students, parents and differently abled children.
Indian Ambassador to Qatar HE P Kumaran made this announcement at the ICBF’s 40th medical camp in Doha, recently. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) in this regard was also signed by ICBF President PN Baburajan and ICBF Counselling House Coordinator Sameer Moosa, on the occasion.
The ICBF president said the Counselling House would serve as a platform for a large number of families, workers and children living under mental stress owing to various reasons. The new initiative of ICBF will create a constructive society and creative minds.
The The Counselling House, which will begin working soon, will conduct two sessions of counseling for family, or children or workers every month on second Tuesday and third Friday. The ICBF will also organise a workshop every two months for parents and students.
The ICBF Counselling House will aim to reach out to community to identify workers, children and parents who need counseling.
Counseling sessions will also be organised at worker accommodations with the support of management.
In addition, classes will be conducted at the offices of ICBF and Integrated Indian Community Centre in Doha.
A team of experts including Bindu Salim, Sreekumar Padmanabhan, Najeeb Hameed, Sasi Goel, Sithara Manoj, Swetha Bharadwaj, Nirmala R and Shahin, and headed by Sameer Moosa, will conduct and coordinate different sessions.
