STEPS TO HANDLE DEATH CASES
In case of NATURAL DEATH
- Death Notification from Mortuary
- (a)Police Report not required if natural death at hospital. (b)Police Report required for all Death cases happened outside the hospital.
- Report to Humanitarian Office of MOI along with Death Notification, QID & Passport of the Deceased.Location - Behind Hamad Medical Corp. Al Saad Timing 8 AM to 5.30 PM (Friday & Saturday Closed)
- Get No Objection Letter from Embassy of India for NOC, submit Family Consent Letter and Letter from Employer.
- Do Cargo Booking and get Airway Bill.
- Return Back to Humanitarian Office of MOI Location - Behind Hamad Medical Corp. Al Saad Timing 8 AM to 5.30 PM (Friday & Saturday Closed).
- Go to Immigration Dept. in Cargo Terminal and endorse the documents Location-Qatar Airways Cabin Crew Building, Reception - Cargo Terminal.
- Go to Customs Dept. (Gate-31) in Cargo Terminal and endorse the documents.
- Submit all documents to Mortuary Office of the Hospital at least 5 hours prior of flight departure time.
In case of ACCIDENTAL DEATH
- Death Notification from Mortuary.
- Police Report mandatory plus Forensic report, if required.
- Report to Humanitarian Office of MOI along with Death Notification, QID & Passport of the Deceased. Location - Behind Hamad Medical Corp. Al Saad Timing 8 AM to 5.30 PM (Friday & Saturday Closed).

Note: Non-Covid certificate can be collected from Hamad Hospital Al-Saad Mortuary reception.
